Project Description

Located within the Kaanapali Beach community lies the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa on the beautiful island of Maui. This large 806 room resort consists of 3 separate towers (Napili tower, Atrium tower, Lahaina tower) & a spa building. Because the hotel is located directly on the beach, the salt water had caused severe damage to hotel façade. Waterproofing Contractors arrived on site in late 2011 and will complete the project by summer 2014. Over 5,000 square feet of concrete repairs were performed on this hotel to ensure its structural integrity. All lanai, also known as balconies, were stripped down to bare concrete & a new deck coating system was applied. Additionally, a new 2 color coating scheme was applied to the hotel façade. With great communication between WCI, the hotel & the architects, guest impact was minimal.
